Patti Smith ist Musikerin, Dichterin, Performance-Künstlerin, Malerin und Fotografin. Als Patti Smith Fan gefällt es mir gut. Ich mag diese Art der Schriftstellerei. Nur zu kurz für den Preis.
Die Kunst des Reisens. Patti Smith. "Warum fühlt man sich zum Schreiben berufen?", Seite 113. Darum geht es auch. ...............Ihre kurze Geschichte HINGABE ist in diesem kleinen Band eingerahmt von kurzen Reiseimpressionen, Reisetexten, Momentaufnahmen, Gedanken während des Unterwegs-seins, oder wie man es sonst nennen könnte. Patti Smith reist gerne, sie tourt gerne (das sieht man an ihren jährlichen Tourneen - meist kurz, aber oft, sie kommt auch mehrmals pro Jahr nach Europa). Paris. Der Flug nach Paris wurde vorgezogen, sie packt noch in ihrer New Yorker Wohnung. Das Taxi kommt zu früh. Leichtes Gepäck. Stunden später in Paris, das "Cafe de Flore" (ein schönes schwarz-weiß Foto vom Besteck des Kaffeehauses befindet sich auf Seite 29). Im Buch sind etliche Fotos von Patti Smith. Sie fotographiert gerne. Weiterreise nach Südfrankreich zum Grab von Paul Valery. Man kann sich das alles beim Lesen gut vorstellen. HINGABE richtet sich natürlich an Fans der Künstlerin und Musikerin - wer schon mehrere Konzerte von ihr besucht hat, weiß, wie sie tickt, was sie mag, sie erzählt es gerne dem Publikum. Es ist eine privilegierte Position, Reisen und Auftreten zu können.Und ihre (fiktive) Geschichte HINGABE _ eine typische Patti Smith Geschichte.
